If you have'nt experienced assisting a dog while giving birth, i would very much recommend you to have your dog confined to a vet clinic, if you are worried of the the cost of confinement, you could talk to your vet & ask him/her if he/she does home service so you could call him/her if your dog is already in labor. I have friends who lost puppies because the pups drowned inside the mother's womb while in labor. it would be very wise to have a professional around. Vet home service usually cost around $100-200. Normal pregnancies are 63/63 days long, but it could be shorter! As a side note, if your Husky isn't a show-dog (or some kind of sporting dog, or at the veeeery least show-quality!) you shouldn't be breeding her. If you want to know WHY you shouldn't, try going to the shelter and telling the dogs there that since you felt like it- youre going to be taking their homes away (: Any day now!
