I personally wouldn’t keep a dog that size in an apartment. I have 2 small dogs and they have an acre of land to play around on. I think dogs need land, not to be cooped up in a house/apartment. Just my opinion though.

if your willing to walk or run him 2 mi. in the am AND in the pm-aka 4 mi. a day….are you prepared for that?
the consequences you ask? say goodbye to your furniture, your carpet, your shoes, and anything else he can take out his excess energy on..
huskys need to run-theyre sledding dogs..

You can, but you must realize that huskies are high-energy, high-octane sorts of dogs. They have a natural desire to run and to pull that has been bred into them for many generations. They have been bred as working dogs, and they are unhappy if they cannot do the work they have been bred to do. I had a lab-husky cross when I was a child, and all he ever wanted to do was pull and run and chew on things (but he was adorable and well-loved, just the same). You’ll have to puppy-proof EVERYTHING, as huskies are heavy chewers, and will chew on things if they get bored or have too much pent-up energy. You will not only have to walk a husky, you’ll have to run him! They need a place to really let loose and fly, or they’ll become frustrated and unhappy, which can lead to destructive behaviour. This said, I’ve known some people who have had success in keeping a husky in an apartment – they were just very vigilant about exercising the dog a lot every day.

Huskies need bathing a lot and and also have loads of energy it would be best if you had a garden for there needs to run so you don’t have to walk it everyday you would be able to get away with not walking it. You don’t need a massive garden or anything.
Or if you don’t have a garden you will need to take it out on walks everyday so it can run around and not be so hyperactive. I do suggest a male would be best as it is more easier to look after than females.
Apart from that all they need is love and care and you will be there best friend and owner. hope this helped
